Dr. Ji graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China majoring in Mechanical Engineering. She then obtained her Masters and Doctorate degrees in Computer Science from Nanjing University (China) and University of Houston (U.S.). Dr. Ji's specialty areas are Software Engineering, Parallel Processing, Neural Netoworks and Data Mining.

As the graduate advisor, Dr. Ji welcomes applicants from all over the world to join the Master of Science program in either Computer Science or Digital Forensics.
