Dr. Varol received his B.S degree from Firat University in Turkey, M.S from West Virginia University, and Ph.D from University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2009.  He joined the Department of Computer Science at Sam Houston State University as an Assistant Professor in Aug. 2009.

His research interests are in Information Quality, Personal Name Matching, Entity Resolution, Record Linkage, Software Architecture, Software Metrics, and QoS in Business Process Automation. He is always looking for collaboration on the above research topics.
