Retired from the U.S. Navy, Kathryn joined the staff of Sam Houston State University in 2002 where she worked with three educational federal grants at the College of Education and later joined the Department of Computer Science as the Department Secretary in September 2004. She is currently working on her BS in history with a minor in photograohy and plans on documenting her travels throughout the United States.
